HAUL // Boots, Superdrug & Topshop

So, I went shopping (whoops) - I hit the shops and I spent my precious money. Get yourself prepared for a long post; here's what I bought (including a couple of bargains)..

Soap&Glory Glow All Out (£11)
I read one single review on this over the course of Christmas and knew I had to have it in the New Year. 'Glow All Out' is basically a very light, wearable highlighter that provides a radiant face all over - what more could you want? I'll have to report back on this because I could, potentially, end up looking like a disco ball..

Soap&Glory Supercat Eye Liner (£6)
I couldn't resist in falling for Boot's 'Buy 1 Get 1 Half Price' offer and so I have to admit that I ended up adding the Supercat Liner to my basket as well.. I suppose Supercat is just a standard eye liner; nevertheless, I'm intrigued to see if this proves champion against any other slim eye liner I have trialed before (will it fair any better?).

Topshop Grey Knit Hat (£10 £5) - No Online Link.
I was looking for a cosy hat throughout all of December and have only just found one now. After Christmas. Nevertheless, I think this hat is perfect for bad hair days, relaxing walks and wrapping up warm (especially considering it snowed yesterday)!

Topshop Nail Varnish 'Silhouette' (£5 £3) - No Online Link.
Bargain, I think. This nail varnish, although it looks black, in reality is actually a very, very dark grey. Topshop nail varnishes have a really nice consistency - not too thin, not too thick (I sound like Goldilocks..) - therefore, they apply ever so easily in one or two swishes. I've just painted my nails with Silhouette (they better not smude while writing this..) and think the shade looks fabulous despite the fact it needed at least two coats for the full opaque effect.

Rimmel Undercover Shadow Primer (£4.99)
Hmm.. I'm not too sure about this Primer after reading some reviews... I'll have to give it another couple of tries; but, after using this once I actually agreed with one of the reviews saying: this primer is the reverse of what it's meant to do. Personally, I think this primer made the wear time of my eye shadow worse..

Rimmel Moisture Renew Clear Lip Liner (£3.99)
Recently, I have been wearing lipstick more often in a vast variety of shades. For that reason, I thought buying a translucent lip liner would be more worthwhile (at the moment), instead of buying several coloured ones - I'll have to see if this liner is any good! I'll report back in a few weeks?..

MUA Trio Eyeshadow 'Emotions' (£2.50)
Firstly, the price tag means each single eyeshadow costs just over a mere 83 pence.. That's crazy! Secondly, I think there's something so pretty and interesting about marble effect makeup products. Whether it's eyeshadow or not, I think anything with a pattern intrigues me. These eye shadows, in particularly, are bronzy and compliment each other perfectly.

Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Bronzer 'Ready To Go' (£4)
This product is, I think, a highlight-bronzer hybrid. Swatch it in store and see for yourself; but, I believe this bronzer will add an adored glowing effect to the high points of your cheekbones.

That is everything, I hope you've had a lovely day!
Check back for my post on Friday (which could be is a post all about my new DSLR)...

BIG HAUL // Jack Wills & Topshop

A haul? Oh yeahh. What can I say? I love a good haul - especially with a few bargains. On Tuesday, my Mum took a trip to the town Durham (actually for passports.. but shopping was on the list too), and wow did my Mum find some great sales, picking up everything i'd have bought (or lusted after) myself.

Taylor Make-Up Pouch (£7 was £14.50) Jack Wills - here.
This is the perfect size for fitting just about anything. With the classic print of the stripes with the ''Jack Wills'' colours, I think this is great for throwing in my bag for the day.

Alive Bird Necklace (£6 was £12.50) Jack Wills - here.
This is adorable. I love, love, love dainty necklaces and this one is just perfect. It also, features a rose-gold (my favourite) chain.

Radford Nail Varnish Set (£6 was £9.50) & English Velvet Rollerball (£7 was £12.50) Jack Wills - here.
I was after a deep navy blue colour for awhile so this one ticks all the boxes. These two shades are typically the ''Jack Wills'' style, being blue and baby pink.

Rose & White Coloured Frilly Socks (£3.50 // 3 For £8) Topshop - here.
Ooooh these frilly socks, I have far to many pairs (that I always seem too lose) of these but I can have more, can't I? These look cute with small boots/trainers or even jelly sandals (I know, socks&sandals).

Poppy Jacquard Treggings (£15, was £28) Topshop - here.
Oh my goodness, look at them... Just look at those jeggings (that's jeans + leggings). I'm usually terrible with wearing ''comfort colours'', like; black, white and (oooh) grey... They'd just go with everything, and i'm a girl who likes options. So, whenever I get my hands on something that's neutral and a pattern to it, it's the best of both worlds. Win, win. I personally prefer high-waisted styles, I find that they suit my figure better and they are more comfortable to wear.

Scrunchie (£4), Simple Necklace (£7), Double Ring (£3.50 was £6.50) Topshop - here.
I am all about the accessories at the moment. I love a bunch of rings placed on my hands (blog post coming soon) and I believe that a small (or bold) necklace can add so much to an outfit. Scrunchies have also been a way to ''jazz'' up a plain pony-tail recently, in particular, this new print is one of my favourites.

So, that's my massive haul.. Have you found any sales worth a look recently? I'd love to know!

HAUL // May Primark

Recently, my Mum took a trip to Manchester for a couple of days, so this was the perfect oppourtunity to give her a little list with couple of pieces I've wanted for a while, particularly from Primark.

Firstly, this classy black clutch with a snakeskin type texture covering the back. This clutch is exactly the right size/shape for anytime, not too big, not too small. This bag wasn't on my list but my Mum spotted it anyway. For £6.00 you can't get much cheaper. I think i'll be using this a lot in the all year round, black is black, afterall.

Next, a pair of bright (almost neon), coral-y pink frilly socks. Not much to say about these, they're cute, they were only £1.50 and they're perfect for this time of the year.

I asked my Mum to find some pretty earings too, and these were brought back for me. 6 pairs of gorgeous, simple black and gold studs. I love them, especially the pentagon shaped ones. Only £1.50 for the entire pack, not bad Primark, not bad.

Shoes, shoes and more shoes! My love for these jelly sandals is unreal, they are fabulous. They look great with frilly socks (yes, I know, socks and sandals..) and at a mere £4.00, I think they were a bargain. My Mum bought me some white ''gold-barred'' sandals with buckle fastenings and a back to them so they won't ''flip-flop''. These sandals are £4.00 also, and will get tonnes of wear on holiday I can just tell. Finally, some new white trainers as my old pair were filthy, ripped and needed repurchasing. These white shoes (similar style to "Vans") were £6.00, slightly pricier than most Primark shoes but they're comfy and fit well.

A pair of simple, boring, plain grey shorts (not pictured) were bought too. £4.00 for these isn't bad at all. I wear these a pyjama shorts, to go swimming in and for casual wear.. they are so versatile and needed for Summer.

Lastly, my favourite piece of all, these gorgeous, flattering black, high-waisted style, flow-y lace shorts. Oh wow. Look at the lace detailing and edge of the bottoms, they are lovely. I think these would be amazing in Summer as they are so light and weightless = comfort factor 50. I had these on my list as well, so once I knew my Mum had bought/found them I was so glad and I can't wait to plan outfits for these little ones. £10.00 for these shorts (mine are a size 6, excuse the hanger), I don't think that's an overly expensive price, but knowing Primark, I just hope they'll last me.

So, Primark is definitely the best place to shop to bulk up your collection for a new season.
